Yup. Make sure there’s no retaining tang on the connector.

There’s a few different wiper motors depending on options (Intermittent wipers, concealed wipers/washer pump) but as far as I know they are all just simple blade terminals with no extra retainer.

Thanks, it took me like 30 mins to get those off. Got this weird issue with the wipers being slow. Trying to lube the crap out of it, seems to be mechanically fine

Thanks for your help. Took an age, but they just pulled off. Fortunately I didn't break the terminals.

Do you have intermittent wipers or just hi/lo?

you might check the bushings on the pivoting arms, also that the drag arms arent rubbing on the body. also that every thing is mostly aligned. sometimes lengthened wipers are hard on the old wore out stuff too.

check your grounds too.

Had an issue with the wiper hitting off the hood, shimmed the pivot point deeper into the body. Ive been running it disconnected from the car, and it is still kinda slow. Going to have to screw around with it. grounds definetly need doing though.

i had one old truck, that i couldnt get to work right. slow as could be. i gave up, and removed and deleted the passenger side wiper, the base, and the drag arm. works great now, well halfway.... now that i think about it, i removed the mechanical squirter pump that was attatched to the motor. sped up after that too.

Just trying to get this junk to pass inspection. my dad is an electrical guru, he is going to fuck around with it. gotta hit 45 cycles/min.

glad you have a pro for back up. you might ALSO check how much voltage you have arriving to the motor terminals, and clean the terminals. if it has a relay, bang on it too.

so much fun to be had.

see you on the other side.

oh hey, those are not that bad. i think its just a wire to a continuous ignition source when the key is on in the fuse block.. set it and forget it..... check the instructions to be sure though..
